Team Members


Scott Weston has been a broker/partner of Maddux and Company for over 40 years. He currently manages over 3 million square feet of commercial property including 25 commercial office/warehouse condominium associations. Over his real estate career Mr. Weston has sold or leased over $1 billion of Commercial Real Estate. His prime focus has been upscale office and warehouse sales, leasing and management. His educational background is a B.S. and Masters of Science degree from North Carolina State University, where he was also a member and Captain of the track and cross country team for four years. Over the years, Mr. Weston has sat on the Board of Governors of the Southwest Y.M.C.A. as well as the Board of Trustees of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and coached the track and cross country teams at Palmetto High School for two years. Currently he is on the Board of Trustees of Baptist Health Enterprises and Baptist Outpatient Services and is the currently the Vice Chair of the West Kendall Baptist Hospital. Mr. Weston is one of the leading Brokers in Miami-Dade County for the sale and leasing of office and office/warehouse condominium units.

Executive Vice President

Joseph Weston has been with Maddux and Company since 2012 and an owner/partner since 2018. He is an aggressive young Broker who is quickly becoming one of South Florida’s top commercial realtors under 40. Currently his prime focus has been upscale office/retail and multi-bay warehouse acquisition and leasing, client relocation services and property management. Joseph currently leases and manages over 1,000,000 Sq Ft of Industrial, Office and Retail space throughout South Florida. Joseph also specializes in distressed properties and currently represents several banks in the managing and leasing of their distressed properties across Miami-Dade County area. His educational background is a B.S. in Management from University of Florida. Joseph is a philanthropist and one of the youngest members of the foundation for Baptist Health Systems. He also currently serves a member of the Baptist Health Systems Foundation Real Estate Committee, as well as West Kendal Baptist Hospital Foundation Board.

Senoir Advisor/Broker

Mr. Stephen Arbuckle, a licensed real estate broker by the State of Florida, has been with the firm since 1979, coming from Uniroyal Chemical Corporation in Naugatuck, Connecticut, where he was National Sales Manager. His educational background is a BS Degree from Purdue University in economics and marketing, and a MBA degree from Southern Illinois University. Mr. Arbuckle is a retired Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. He is an approved contractor for the FDIC as well as for the former RTC. He has been both Treasurer and Secretary for the Board of Directors of the Commercial Alliance of the Greater Miami and the Beaches Board of Realtors. Mr. Arbuckle served as the Chairman of the Grievance Committee for the Commercial Alliance for the past four years, and is presently the Chairman of the Profession Standards Committee. Like all of the Maddux and Company Associates, he works strictly on commission, and searches for or markets a maximum of twenty properties at any given time to ensure that each property is properly handled. He was one of the brokers involved in the Falls Shopping Center sale, as well as numerous other properties throughout the state of Florida including; 16 retail acres on Military Trail in Palm Beach County for First Union National Bank, the former Perrine Plaza Shopping Center, 14 acres for $4,800,000.00, 12.4 acres landfill, Biscayne Boulevard for $6,100,000.00, the Sherwood Forrest Apartments in Brandon Florida for $6,900,000.00. Mr. Arbuckle was the real estate broker selected by the City of Miami and the Brickell heirs to exclusively market and sell a downtown city park. He is also the exclusive broker in South Florida for Avanti Properties, the largest land investment company in the United States.

Senior Associate

Jesse Cox is a senior sales associate of Maddux and Company and a skilled and experienced property manager. His current focus is in office and warehouse sales and leasing. He also specializes in online marketing and promotion of properties that appeal to national and global markets. Jesse currently manages and leases over 400,000 Sq Ft of office, industrial, and retail space throughout South Florida. Jesse has exclusively represented several prestigious commercial and corporate tenants, finding specialized properties and negotiating leases for unique uses or specific client requirements. Before joining the firm in 2016, Jesse had a diverse industry background and has experience in IT, marketing, and web design. In addition he worked in the Facilities Management industry. His main areas of expertise were in negotiating service contracts and working with contractors to estimate, bid on, and manage projects for local and state government, and several national corporations. His educational background is a B.S. in Applied Communication from Appalachian State University.

Gian M. Traina

Gian Traina is a real estate professional with over 10 years of experience, Gian prides himself on delivering the highest level of customer service. As a native of Miami, Gian has a personal appreciation and intimate familiarity to the growing, ever-changing South Florida landscape. Uncompromising client discretion, open communication and accessibility are fundamental elements to his sales and property management approach resulting in success for buyers, sellers and investors alike. He currently manages over 275,000 Sq Ft of industrial multi-bay warehouse, office and flex space. Gian’s commitment to his clients has taught him that whether the objective is acquisition, disposition, leasing or management, success in commercial real estate requires a highly diligent and hands on agent tending to every detail to ensure the best results possible.

Senior Property Manager

Sofia Weston joined the Maddux and Company team with the goal to provide her commercial and residential clients with meticulous hands-on management services. As the licensed Community Association Manager (C.A.M.) at Maddux, she specializes in residential properties and commercial properties with specific client service driven needs. Her years of experience began over a decade ago when she graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Management and worked in the field of association management, bookkeeping & client services. Throughout her career she has provided first class management to her clients from around the world. Sofia is a proficient speaker of English and Spanish.

Attorney, LCAM

Frances Martir Lloret was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, finishing with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and Spanish. She earned her law degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida in 2012, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013. During her legal career, Mrs. Lloret has handled a wide array of cases covering several areas of the law including civil litigation, family law, probate, personal injury, collections, foreclosure, immigration and real estate. Most recently, Mrs. Lloret has focused on real estate and property management. With her extensive legal background, knowledge of the greater Miami area and fluency in Spanish, she has become an excellent addition to the Maddux Team.

Sales Associate, Property Manager, Senior Accounting Director

Javier Amado is an experienced accountant with more than 18 years working in the field and doing accounting for real estate-property management since 2009. He graduated in Business Administration in Venezuela and has been based in Miami since 2003. He is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and sales associate with Maddux and Company and currently manages Double and Triple Net based properties. He writes and speaks English and Spanish which makes him an all around asset to attend a variety of clientele given the ample culture that Miami offers. As a Real Estate investor himself, he understands the needs, do’s and don’ts, and with his extensive accounting and business organization knowledge he is able to advice investors on how to maximize their investments potential.

Sales Associate, Multi-Family Property Manager

Marty is a new sales associate at Maddux and Company. He carries with him a deep love and appreciation of all that is real estate both professionally and personally. He has considerable investment in both commercial and residential properties. Marty is a retired Air Force officer and former Commander of the 482nd Mission Support Squadron. He has a B.S. in Business Management from St. Leo College and a M.B.A from Barry University. His vast experience and education help to drive him as a hands-on type of person. Marty uses his decades of real estate investment and property management experience to head up Maddux and Company’s multi-family property management division. Marty had been a member of the foundation for Baptist Health Systems for nearly 20 years.
